Our shop founder, Grace Cooper, once said about stranded knitting, “You’ll think you’re knitting too loosely but you’re not knitting loose enough!” 

Our Fair Isle Gingham Hat is a great project for mastering the right tension for stranded colorwork, so you can perfect your skill before venturing into a larger project like a sweater.

It can be made in adult or baby size. And, if you switch your light and dark colors, you will have enough yarn for the second hat!
